I was screwing off in quake  3, tried to load up 50 bots on nightmare into one level. It kicked me. I went into the console to see what the error was Which was server command overflow. Here is what I got in the console that baffled me.

I didn't type these, those messages just came up.

The fancy name says 'WashU' in l33t-q3-typ3 ;] - the German comes from the Swine bot.

Washu:  What you're seeing is bot exit chat that's being dumped next to your name because the server's text buffer overflowed and didn't properly terminate the strings, and it got lumped together.  The most I've been able to spawn on a map so far in a local game without getting booted with an error is about 16 bots on MpTerra3.  I've not tested the limit for a dedicated server yet.

the only kind of chat easter eggs is when you use sombody of the creators there name . sometimes the bots willsay something about it.

They respond to some statements in certain ways, too.
I once got Doom to say he wanted nachos. Slipgate - Laugh

I think because some people thought the bots were TOO chatty, and didn't frag enough.  What's even funnier is talking to the Gladiator bots for Q2.  One example:

Phoenix ate Demigoddess's rocket.
Phoenix:  Kiss my cloaca!
Demigoddess:  God you're horny.

Talk to crash, it is creepy. I said "I will delete your file!" and it said something to the degree, "You won't be doing any "deleting' soon"
