As of this posting, Generations Arena version .99e has been downloaded 2030 times!  That's counting all versions of the full and base installations.  We have plenty of potential players out there now, and that's just two days after a very difficult release session.  QuakeCon is going to see some CD's being distributed, as well as a The Generations tournament.  I've run across several new players tonight alone, so let's keep those servers filled so everyone has someone to frag with!

So... you're saying this is worth downloading then?
Maybe I'll have to take a look at  it then.

I must admit I was a bit shocked when I saw the 300+ MB filesize.
Thankfully you also have a base installer for people who already have all the mappacks.

Nice job!  Thumbs up!

Mind you, Arno, mappacks 1, 2 and 3 have been replaced. If you had those, you'll still need to download the new mappacks, and delete the old..

*sigh*  Slipgate - Sad

Con and Tab, you're both right. I found out the hard way when I tried to join a server. Banging Head against Wall

Oh well, time to grab that 300+ MB file...

or just the mappacks seperately. If you have 99e core, just grab the mappack zips and extract to /generations.

It'll save you 70mb

True, but on the other hand it's kind of convenient to have it all in one package. So I got the large file and it worked. I ran around in a server a bit last night. Hopefully I can join a real game soon.

Also, nice job on the new HUD's!
