Ok, so it shoots BB's, but it's still a minigun with a laser.  I don't want to hear any more complaints about lasers on top of the Earth gatling guns not being realistic! Slipgate - Grin

The laser ray probably is (not anti-aliased it seems), but I'm sure the laser itself is real ;]

It probably is, just so you'll know it's there. Lasers are generally invisible unless there's a lot of fog or dust in the air. All you see is the dot at the end.
