Title: ET WDC Server Post by: fourier on 2008-07-13, 01:58 ET (EscapedTurkey) is having a special until sometime next week. I thought I'd let you know. It's $5 a month for 32 slots + 4 private slots. I'm even considering getting one for that cheap. The only problem is that I don't think they support custom exe's from the start. It looks like you have to create a support ticket to ask for supporting a mod which uses a custom exe (for future generations versions).
I'm attempting to register, so I can ask them a couple questions. You register on the forums; they send you a link to the support ticket area; you select Forum Registration and wait. As long as you will be making linux binaries (their servers are linux) they will do their best to support the game. I assume you plan to do a linux version of 1.0, but let me know for sure if you can, phoenix.
I forgot to ask them whether or not they allow sv_fps 40. I'll let you know. If they do, I'll probably put one up running generations and post the ip here.
