Title: Doom 3 Source Code to be Released This Year

If anyone's been wanting to do some serious modding with the Doom 3 engine, it's coming.

Before anyone asks, no, I don't have plans to port Gen to using the Doom 3 engine.  Maybe after the gameplay stuff is done I'll see about whether or not it's possible for the renderer to be compatible, but no guarantees.  If someone else ports the engine so it can run Q3 - which will probably happen - then I'll definitely look into that, and no, there will be no 60 FPS limit if that happens.  Fourier and I have already solved FPS-dependent physics in Q3 with the help of Haste's old OSP code and I see no reason why it wouldn't work with a different renderer.
