Title: Webcomics (the good ones)
Post by: Genialus on 2004-06-21, 22:19
Please share all your favourite webcomics with the rest of us!

Since I'm the one wanting you to do so, I'll start
I'll just hook you up with the first strib so you don't have to look for it yourself.

We all know this one (or we should)

Brilliant and in color, sometimes  i can even relate to Ethan... scary

one with an insane amount of stribs already created

has a lot of stereotypes and makes fun of them all

I don't know if people know about this one but I definately think it deserves a mention.

Hunter of evil... Stuff... No seriously!
Unfortunately this one is only a weekly updated one :(

BtB is great indeed. I've set up my personal favourites, excluding:

- Cat and Girl (http://www.catandgirl.com)
Very good stuff. Nice art, but very stylish storytelling and generally melancholic & dry humour.

- Rehabilitating Mr. Wiggles (http://neilswaab.com/comics/wiggles/wiggles_content.html)
Well, this is mainly for when you agree with Neil Swaab that taboo's are so last century. Not for everyone, but I can definately appreciate it.

- Excelsior Studios (http://www.excelsiorstudios.net)
Home of (at the moment) Bite me! (I think it was, anyway). Great artist. Also home of the Anne Frank comic - I really really really hope he'll finish that one, some day.

- the Ink tank (http://www.inktank.com/)
Just good fun. Nothing special. I see it as a lesser version of PvP, in general.

- Ubersoft (http://www.ubersoft.net/)
Well, if you're a Micro$oft-hater, like me, you'll appreciate most of the jokes. It's very very shoddy artwise, though.

- Return to Sender (http://rts.lunistice.com/)
Very very good comic. Brilliant storyline, although it's nowhere near finished. Very clean and nice artwork, too. Definately worth keeping an eye on.

- John and John (http://www.johnandjohn.nl/)
Lots of lame jokes and likeable comicy art. Made by a dutchie, too.

- All my other favs are presented in this document:
My favourite comics, all easy and dastardly bunched together (http://dynamic2.gamespy.com/~tabun/comix/index.php)
Well, scrap garfield from the favourites list, it sucks nowadays. Oh well.
#1 in there for me is definately the Maakies - great, great stuff that.
