Because ETQW doesn't interest me, that's why. Muahahahahaha

Because I'm bugfixing Gen and trying to motivate myself to code.

Because I'm a nostalgia-gamer/developer and not simply jumping onto any old bandwagon that comes along.

My machine barely runs it.  It must be something about my processor being half the speed of the minimum requirement. :p

Because after the nasty things I said about my motherboard on Monday it got offended and stopped working, so now I don't have a PC that runs it.

To be honest I didn't really expect much from ETQW, most class based team games fail in one way or another but it seems to avoid a lot of the pitfalls of such games, THANKFULLY there is bot support so you can play by yourself, and I find it enjoyable even though the Strogg don't exactly match their Q2 renditions (for example there are no Icarus units but it is a kind of vehicle/jet pack with a weapon) but hey at least the railgun looks like a railgun.

If I could run the game better, I'd be playing right along with you Kajet.  I enjoyed the original Enemy Territory, and from what I played at Quakecon 2006, I'll likely enjoy Quake Wars.

Just had a few rounds on the demo and my verdict so far is this:

Id need to stop outsourcing their shit.

Thank you for your time. :ninja:

I was thinking of pre-Quake Romero.

And we all know what happened to him (http://content.answers.com/main/content/wp/en/thumb/3/3b/180px-John_Romero's_Head.png) ...

lol good one

nah i would prefer warren spector do to the next quake as the first Deus Ex was a masterstroke and i still play it today

the second one, is ok but has less replayablity and no modding potential  or BVG as they did Tron 2.0 and i loved that, there wasn't one part of that game i loathed and that's always a good sign

Kinda seems like the first DooM was the apex of a lot of people's careers, sure there are better games now but DooM is one of the most prolific games ever regardless if you're talking about retro gaming or not.
