Do we really need Microsoft owning any more of the world?

Nobody wants to live in a world that needs to be rebooted every some-odd months. Not to mention the security holes. :P

DENIED! For now, at least. If they go through with this, then Microsoft'll be one step closer to WORLD DOMINATION!

Let's face it, that's Microsoft's ultimate goal.

I'm going to get seriously worried when MS starts to buy water/electricity companies.

Store one too many items in your 100-item-licensed refridgerator? No electricity for a week.
Installing a new bathtub without asking first? No running water.
And if .. I mean when something goes wrong .. ... Anarchy.

I guess Microsoft's not satisfied with the adoption rate of Live search. :p

Playful jab aside, this potential merger has another danger.  Yahoo! is partnered with a lot of ISP's to provide e-mail servers, software, and web-based services.  If Microsoft owned Yahoo! they could work towards making these features exclusive to MSN.
