I manage to bought him yesterday...

He's just too awesome even by just looking at it... I even put him beside my pillow to sleep with him yesterday...

... now I don't know whether I should open the packaging or not? If I open it, I'm afraid the epicness is gone... but if I don't open it... then I feel it's like no point getting him in the first place either...




*btw, I can't directly show the picture in the posts? I'm not sure what I did wrong, it's only showing links?? I tried the /img thing but it doesn't work either..

I fixed the lack of picture.  Flickr is tricky about how you get to the actual image.  You have to get to a specific section before you can access the actual .jpg itself.

Here's what to do about the dilemma:  Buy a second Duke.  That way you have epic unopened Duke, and epic out-of-the-box Duke.   :slippy_thumb:

and unfortunately, this is the only last Duke on the shelve... after a few months of hunting, and I finally happen to come across a shop... talk about being lucky...

Just open it. You won't loose much on presentation by chucking the packaging. Most action figures don't really ever become that valuable either, package or not. Just put him in a nice pose in your display cabinet tin the living room... keeps all that dust off him. ;)

Might as well cast aside the packaging.  After all, the plastic will inevitably melt from trying to contain the pure awesomeness that radiates from Duke

Well, the original Resaurus Duke Nukem figure from DN3D is only going for about $15.00 - $20.00 on ebay, new in box, so it looks like Duke hasn't gained too much collector value over time.  Up to you what to do.
