I'm definitely looking forward to both. I really hope that Skyrim is more akin to Morrowind than it is Oblivion though, because I felt that the latter was pretty generic feeling.

SS3 looks awesome. I love how Sam has the whole Mighty Foot thing going. I have to wonder how many one-liners Sam is going to have picking on DNF. Don't get me wrong, I love Duke, but the cross-game jabs are always great.

There do seem to be a lot of melee kills that remind me a lot of DNF. The almost realistic approach they took with the weapons and environment struck me as odd though, especially in comparison to how stylized the art direction was in previous games. Still, it looks great and should be a lot of fun.
I just finished playing Hard Reset the other day. It was pretty short, but a lot of fun. It's like Painkiller, but in a cyberpunk setting. It's an absolutely gorgeous game, and even uses Doom 3's method of interfacing with computers and menus (just using the crosshair/curser). I always liked that, and am glad to see another game getting it.

I have to admit- I just watched all of the skyrim gameplay yesterday and it it's epic. I'm gonna love slaying phoenixs with an even sword... just kidding- or not .gif) And I barely learned about hard reset- it looks like a pretty decent game.  |

Ahh, no worries. Unlike those that attempt to imitate me, I cannot be slain... but even if I could, why would anyone want to? If a phoenix is prematurely lit on fire, does that whole process of rising from the ashes get started early? Could be amusing if so.. |
