That Resident Evil trailer looks like shit. Let's dissect it.

Pros:
They got Claire Redfield's costume from RE3 right.
The few seconds shown of Nemesis looked cool.

Cons:
So now instead of just Claire + Milla there is a group of what looks to be young teenagers to assemble a strike force. And of course they all have to be from different ethic groups and unknown bad level B actors. What is this, Jason X? Oh greay, another "resistance fighters" movie

WTF plot? Who is re-opening the hive? Why isn't every one dead like at the end of the first one?

What is that god awful Creed like music near the end of the trailer that is totally out of place?

Cheesy bad "did you hear that sounds, camera pans slowly around person's face and surprise something is behind them" TWO times in the same trailer.

Milla is now "superhuman" and looks like she can fly around Neo style.

Bummer.

She was in the first film as well. Looks a bit more over-the-top now, though Slipgate - Sad

Ya, i'm a huge fan of all the RE games and the first film, but I see little or no hope the 2nd film.


The band at the end of the trailer is Killswitch Engage, btw.

Question, where can I find this trailer?  I tried searching online, and I can only find a teaser that is mostly nothing more than an advertisement for a product of the Umbrella Corporation with some footage of the film thrown in at the end.

Also, while I don't care for B actors unless they're amazingly good at what they do,  Slipgate - Smile~  the first film had actors in it that were entirely unknown to me save one, (the female actress who also starred in the Fast and the Furious.)  I also remember them being of different nationalities.  And while I'm horribly outclassed, I happen to like Creed so nyah. :p

I believe its a Yahoo Movies! exclusive ATM.

Thats the only place i've seen it, anyway.
