Just wonderin'. You guys plan in the near future, possibly before the release of v1.0 add some of the following: Add bot, remove bot, team orders menu (or at least give orders to bots), select a team, ya know, you select a class: Doom, Slippy, whatever, and choose to fight a certain class only, pretty much like in Q3:TA, Strogg vs. Enforcers, or Pagans vs. The Fallen, you name it; and finally, at some point are ya thinkin' in bringin' back the lil items ya feature in version .99b? dat look very much like the powerups in Q3TA? the lil red cross, the lil nailgun, i can't remember what they were supposed to do, but they were pretty cool inthe game play, specially if you are a Doom Warrior with the lil red regeneratin' cross...

Genflags - used to restrict certain classes. If a player attempts to choose a restricted class, they will be unable to. Default value is 0. Genflags are "latched" and any changes will not take effect until the map cycles or a warmup completes. If genflags are changed and your class is no longer allowed you will be put back into spectator mode and allowed to choose a new class. If random class is required on a server you will automatically randomize after a map change. Setting 63 (everything banned) has a failsafe and will force back to the default 0.

 0 - standard, all classes allowed
1 - No Earth
2 - No Doom
4 - No Slipgate
8 - No Strogg
16 - No Arena
32 - No Random
64 - Enable Class-based Teams

Addbot and remove bot can be done from the console, but yes, we're going to add the in-game menu eventually.

You can select your team by hitting ESC and clicking on the TEAM menu.
You can select your class at any time by hitting ESC and clicking on the PLAYERS menu, then clicking the GENERATIONS tab and selecting the player class you wish to use.

Class based teams:  What Tekhead said.  Set your genflags to 64, and set g_redteam and g_blueteam to whichever class you wish that team to consist of.  Be sure to set the g_gametype to either 3 for Team Deathmatch or 4 for Capture the Flag for this to work.  You can even callvote these while on a server but you have to do it from the console at this time.

Thanx guys; Tek, Omega, Pho, de info is really helpful, obviously i haven't take a good look at the other options of the mod, and basically was focused on the fragfest inside the arena; now another question, i definelly want to add my own user posted image dat goes just on top of the signature; so how do ya do dat??? Thanx, and thanx again for doin' de very best mod for Q3....

Click on "My Controls" at the top of the screen.  In the next window click on "Edit Signature".  Use the following format for placing an image:

Add your link above your text, and that's it!  All we request is that it's not super huge, profane/pornographic, or any kind of annoying flashing or otherwise super distracting thing.  Anything along the lines of what Tekhead and ConfusedUs are using is a good example of maximum acceptible size.
