Until midnight (PST) today (Aug. 30, 2005), you can download Opera and get it registered for free.

First, start off by downloading the latest version (8.02):
http://www.opera.com/

Next, just go to this link, and follow the instructions. You will only be asked for your email address (which they do not verify):
http://my.opera.com/community/party/reg.dml

This is not a hack, leaked serial code or anything else illegal.  You will be given a legitimate registration code and license by Opera themselves.

There's nothing that Opera has that Firefox doesn't do.

Of course, both are better than IE.

Actually, Opera has some good things Firefox lacks. Not things that I need, but it's damned good anyhoo :]
I also think Opera is a bit nicer to system resources.. but I'm not certain about that.

I'm happy with Firefox. Don't need Opera. Besides, if I installed it in my PC, my bro would get completely mad. Slipgate - Smirk

Go to firefox and you'll never use IE again. Really.

All the browser applications pretty much work the same, so generally it's a matter of personal preference. However, IE is one huge security risk in the shape of a browser, and to me that's enough reason to stay far away from it. Besides, a little boycotting of MS never hurts. They do not know (or care) what's good for you.

I think im going to use opera as my main browser now because it loads faster and even loads pages a little quicker than firefox, but I wont delete firefox because it has good extensions and I still may use that, but now I definately wont use ie when i already got 2 better browsers
