I figured this fair warning.  The RIAA is serious about this, and if you didn't take it serious before you had better do so now:

And if any of you think you have rights and can fight it, then forget it.  They have money, and they know that you do not.  You better start protecting yourselves from this sort of thing, even if you're not doing anything wrong.  I'm sure that they are being extra careful that YOUR rights are not being violated, after all.  It's not as if they represent some big powerful corporations with lots of money and power or anything...

Gameskeeper, it's not the people who steal PC Games that the RIAA is after, it's the people who download mp3's. They're sueing for as much as $750 to $150,000 for each SONG  on a person's computer. How each song is worth $750 is funny to me, I would have to buy 50 CDs at $15 apiece to equal that much money. And there's anywhere from 10 to 18 songs on a cd.

God only knows how they get $150,000.

Well if you have the money to fight the RIAA (and it would take alot ) you proubly have the money to buy  alot of games so its easy for you to  say people who cant pay for games shouldnt play them . I myself have a good amount of money to spend on games as i have few expenses but ive also paid 50 dollars for games like daikatana or gun valkyrie and felt like id been stolen from.
What the RIAA dosent seem to realise is the more press they give to piracy the more popular and main stream it becomes. Every time they mention kazaa someone new hears about it and uses it.  Years a ago they only people who even knew the term ".mp3" were geeks a very small percentage population now everyone knows it. The music industry is slitting its own throat
