I don't get to see many music videos (don't watch TV and only really special things become internet-memes).

One that comes to mind is
Royskopp - Remind Me (or here, with better sound but uglier graphics)

Also good:
Pearl Jam - Do the Evolution

Another that comes to mind is a music video (of a better track even, different band) that's kind of similar in animation, but not so much 'statistical' and stylistic. Sadly, I remembered only the video and how cool it was, but not the artist or a track name, so I can't find that. It was themed around a chance encounter between two potential lovers, with a very fleeting moment and the passion unleashed therein stretched the length of the song. Oh well.

I also remember seeing the Beastie Boys' Sabotage music video, which I liked. That was back in the days when that came up often on MTV, btw.

Aside from those, stop-motion tool clips always kicked arse.

Favorite music video.. that's hard to say for me. As long as it's a good song, I don't really care much for the video.. since, with my type of music (80's metal), they're all pretty cheesy.

Ratt.. Megadeth.. Iron Maiden.. Ozzy.. etc etc etc.

None of the videos I can think of really jump out at me as being cool and 'zomg thatz awsum!'.

I can think of a really cheesy one tho.. and I mean really cheesy:
Dio - Holy Diver
I like the song.. but the video's just.. I mean, wow.

Not what you were looking for tho. If I HAD to pick a favorite.. it'd probably be
HeadBanging Megadeth - Wake Up Dead HeadBanging
Nothing fancy.. but I guess that makes it less cheesy than a lot of others. Slipgate - Smile

Disturbed - Land of confusion

I would argue that the original video (and song for that matter) are far superior. As tolerable as Disturbed is for nu-metal, they don't do Genesis justice. Furthermore, I've always found it disgusting when bands put out covers as singles. It shows a grave lack of creativity and quality, or at the very least a spineless approach to marketing.

To answer the actual question however, I've always been found of pretty much any Tool video. They tend to convey not only a story, but an artistic expression. The near-complete lack of "our band merely playing" type of footage is a definite bonus. I wish more bands would use music videos as a means to further explore their artistry and add depth and context to their songs instead of simply promoting radio play. There are of course others, but I can't think of any great examples off the top of my head... Unless you can count The Wall or Broken. Doom - Thumbs Up!

Suicidal Tendencies - Trip At The Brain

I forgot all about this one. Guess it ranks up there in my favorite-ness because it's so.. 'wtf' quality.

Also like the Twisted Sister videos just because of the beginning parts..

I quite like Disturbed's LoC video, but the Genesis video is hilarious.

Let's see now:

Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer (although the bit with the dancing frozen chickens still gives me nightmares)
Pendulum - Slam (couldn't have been done on a budget of any more than ?30)
Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar
Jurassic 5 - Work It Out
That Pharcyde video where everything is backwards
Any video directed by Chris Cunningham, Jonathan Glazer, Michel Gondry or Spike Jonze.

The guy in the Disturbed video kind of looks like a ripoff of Manowar's faceless warrior mascot guy.  As for the video itself... *sigh*  I'm afraid that when the hammer finally falls, heroes will be few and far between.  Good to have hope though.  God knows this world could use some.

Tab:  That evolution video is rather a downer.  It brings out a few feelings I usually try to bury:  One is the depression I get when I contemplate humanity and all it does to itself, another is disgust with life in general and wishing mine were at an end, and yet another is relief in reminding myself that I don't buy into all that evolution stuff, and that I still have some hope left for what good I can find in all things, even though I often forget to look.

Actually, the Remind Me video is kind of depressing too, come to think of it.  Maybe I'm just in a fowl mood tonight.

Mink:  I remember those two.  First two music videos I ever saw.  I cringed when I saw Dee Snider for the first time.  Their gimmick is to shock, and it rather worked I say.  Love the music though, and the videos are good comedy.

Well, enough sulking, here's a few of mine, though I don't watch TV much and they're old 80's stuff of course:

Tattooed Millionaire from Bruce Dickinson
Aces High from Iron Maiden

Here's a few videos from songs that hold some deeper meaning for me.  A rare glimpse into the more private side of Pho you might say.

The Price from Twisted Sister
Tears of the Dragon  from Bruce Dickinson

I just picked music videos that stood out visually for me, or were a little more daring than your average stuff. I hope I can still locate the vid I wasn't able to find/identify, because that's rather sweet (especially in comparison Slipgate - Wink).

I'm not a huge music person but I rather like Weird Al's stuff particularly:

I got to see him in concert so this one reminds me of that,

I have to add this to my list:

Muse - Invincible

Pay attention to the scenery, not the band.  The end is very neat.

I always thought Digging in the dirt was nifty.

Also, while this isn't the official music video of Bitches, it so should be.
