I didn't watch Dark of the Moon, and I'm not sure if I ever will.. but that figure impresses me.

I'm not sure what Shockwave looks like in the movie, but that figure there is most definitely Shockwave. It has the weird new style, but at least the character is immediately identifiable. For an oldschool Transformers fan like me, that is already a step up in design from the previous two movies.

The Shockwave I know. Slipgate - Smile

You should watch it, it's really awesome (in my opinion)

In the movie Shockwave isn't really purple, but don't know why he is purple in action figures... detailwise, the movie and the figure is accurate

It is definitely my most favorite character in the movie, and I didn't really like how Soundwave's alternate mode this time despite how I LOVED Soundwave all these years....  =__='''

But Laserbeak is cool too... I saw it the other day but I didn't have enough money so I missed it, and it wasn't there anymore...   T_T

Anyways, I plan to get all Decepticons figures soon

The main theme of the movie by Linkin Park, it really really fits with the movie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLYiIBCN9ec

I've seen Dark of the Moon, and I thought it was pretty good.  I loved Laserbeak in the movie, though Laserbeak has always been one of my favorite characters.  I'd say of all the Decepticons he's responsible for causing the most damage, albeit indirectly, because of his reconnaissance.  There's some pretty awesome hardware that's shown in Dark of the Moon as well.  I won't post any spoilers, but I think the third movie had a much more serious tone to it than the second one, and the plot is actually similar to two of the G1 episodes.  I can't name which ones or it would spoil.  There's no dogs humping this time either, so that was a definite plus.  It's worth a rental at least.  Doom - Thumbs Up!

'cause its about birdies, right?  hahaaa

But ya, Laserbeak can transform into a lot of things, so cool   Slipgate - Laugh

And now there's going to be a "Human Alliance" figure series coming soon to have Soundwave and Laserbeak together.... I might actually get this one... although I didnt like Soundwave's vehicle mode... but because of Laserbeak which I can't find it anywhere at the moment... http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cVS4dzuZTug/Ti...tGR7g/s1600/SDCCHASoundwaveLaserbeak.jpg

I'm glad you guys liked the film. I won't be watching it however. I reluctantly watched the first two a few months ago and found them to be about as far from entertaining as possible. I can't imagine that Dark of the Moon would be any worse than Revenge of the Fallen. At best, it'll be as bad as the first film. Slipgate - Tongue

There were easier ways of looking at Megan Fox for the first two, and she isn't even in this one. Why does this movie even exist? :]

I didn't mind the first Bay-former film too much.. but the second one hurt enough that seeing the third is near impossible.

The 1986 animated film is no masterpiece either, but it is better than the two Bay movies that I saw.

I realize I'm the oddity here, but I couldn't care less about Megan Fox.  I like to watch giant transforming robots beat each other up... which was, ironically, Orson Welles' complaint about the original Transformers movie when he did the voice of Unicron.  He said it was just one toy beating up another toy.  Slipgate - Smirk

I agree with Tab, the continuity seems to be off without her.... I would prefer Megan Fox to be in the third movie...

There's conflicting information as to why Megan Fox was not in the third movie.  I've read that she compared Bay to Adolph Hitler and Bay booted her as a result, and I've read that she left of her own accord.  Regardless of what exactly happened, there was no way she could be in the third film so they had to work in a new character.  They actually based her off the Carly character in the G1 TV series, except for making her British instead of American.  As in the movie, in the TV series she did have a rather expensive looking sports car, though in the TV series her car was eventually vaporized by Shockwave after Carly and Spike rode the Decepticons' space bridge to Cybertron.  She eventually married Spike Witwicky, whom the much more inferior character of Sam Witwicky was (very) loosely based on.

Oh, let me be clear about one thing: I'm not a fan of Fox. I know porn actresses that look better and do sexier things -- and that I have more respect for. :]

Who's Megan Fox?

Slipgate - Tongue  I had to.

Truthfully, though, I don't actually know what she looks like since I've never watched these movies (never watch movies in theatres and rarely watch movies on TV).

wow, nice bird!

Yesterday I actually saw the deluxe version Laserbeak in a shop... but it is the 'Tomy Takara' version, meaning that it is made from Japan, and the price is a bit more expensive than the retail made version... so I decided not to get it first... until when the Human Alliance Sounwave is out... which has laserbeak inside with him together (but is a very smaller Laserbeak compared to the deluxe version)... will keep looking out for the non Tomy Takara version of it anyways...
