Check out the screenshots. It's a really 'evil' map. Shoot Jesus' Head once :-) I reminds me a lot of DooM, actually.

Snipit:
    Version 666 (Q3DM)
Description - I wanted to create a sort of evil hellish theme that fitted in with tech stuff and this is what became of it. There are a a great deal of firey colors and wires to add to the atmosphere, as well as many pentagrams and crosses to push the theme even further. I wanted a thick, evil atmosphere that would make some people slightly uneasy while playing so as to keep them on their toes. The layout is small, tight, and fast and is suited for about 2 to 8 players.

Crazy, there IS an 'edit post' feature, so if you want to go back and edit your first post to fix the link, go ahead. This is the kind of thing it's there for. Slipgate - Wink

Speaking of maps, is anybody working on another set of maps? It's always good to have a variety. So far, there seems to be very few Wolfenstein styled maps and only a handful of DOOM maps. The Quake1 deathmatch maps seem to have gotten the most attention so far. Also I noticed some maps are very punishing to older computers. Swisscheese Trickster and The Flying Plutonians can drop to a single digit framerate, especially with LAN games. Doom - Huh?

I'll probably put together another mappack eventually.

The reason there's more q1 maps than others is becuase there's more q1 themed maps out there. It's hard to find good maps amid all the junk out there.

There's the Tower of Babel and E1M8 - Phobos Anomaly, those are fairly quick and less FPS bashing.

DooM - E1M8 - Phobos Anomaly: [download] 1.98MB
DooM - E2M8 - Tower of Babel (Return to Babel) - [download] 1.94MB

I looked at the Tower of Babel remake map. It's literally a difference of night and day compared with the original. The old one in DOOM was in broad daylight and this one is DARK! It's like going to a place at 1:00 PM and coming back later at 3:30 AM. Too bad there's no cyberdemon to blow up. The trouble is, I think it might have the edge in this new dark level.
