Title: mIRC script for #wirehead (a script to handle cross-network stuff)
Post by: Dr. Jones on 2003-06-09, 20:21
This script can be employed whether you're connected to irc.wireheadstudios.net or irc.enterthegame.com, and will translate cross-network traffic from WHS (the bot), and make it look more like it's being said on the network you're on.  i.e.

<@WHS> <MMZ_[WaRdeN]|WORK@whs> ahhh

becomes

<MMZ_[WaRdeN]|WORK@whs> ahhh

and

<@WHS> *** part whs!#wirehead: MMZ_[WaRdeN]|WORK (Warden@acura.vtti.vt.edu)
<@WHS> *** join #wirehead@whs: MMZ_[WaRdeN]|WORK (Warden@acura.vtti.vt.edu)
<@WHS> *** channel mode change whs!ChanServ +o MMZ_[WaRdeN]|WORK

becomes

* Inter-Part: MMZ_[WaRdeN]|WORK (Warden@acura.vtti.vt.edu)
* Inter-Join: MMZ_[WaRdeN]|WORK (Warden@acura.vtti.vt.edu)
* ChanServ@whs sets mode: +o MMZ_[WaRdeN]|WORK

and

<@WHS> * f-CmR|Lt_Phil@whs tests his script some more

becomes

* f-CmR|Lt_Phil@whs tests his script some more

...
all in the same colors as normal text, channel modes, joins/parts, action text, etc ^_^

get the script here now! (http://www.speakeasy.org/~ltphil/whs.mrc)

put the script in your mIRC folder (i.e. C:\Program Files\mIRC), then type /load -rs whs.mrc and you're good to go :D

note that, because WHS (the bot) doesn't transmit quit messages, they will not show up with this script either ^_^
