Hey,

I'm new to the forum, though I watch and play generations arena heaps.

one thing I didnt like from the old release is the strogg explosions.  It looks like it came from duke3d or somthing  Slipgate - Shifty

I was wandering have you changed it for the new version, or what would be cooler is remake the original Q2 explosion <3 , I know that would be a lot of work because its a 3D model "I think?"

for authenticities sake  Slipgate - Grin

Thanks,

Actually, the original explosion .md2 from Quake 2 has been in older versions, just to see if it would work. It did. A while ago now, I completely remodelled the explosion from scratch, and was in the process of making a texture for it, when my disk crashed. Since, as you say, it is indeed a lot of work, I didn't feel like doing it again soon after :]

Don't worry, it'll be there ;]
