Thanks to all that attended the release party for Gen Arena .99f, it was an amazing set of action that spanned onto two servers. Up front I'd like to mention that there's a lot of new Gen servers up and if you need to know them either update your ASE or stop by our Servers (http://www.wireheadstudios.org/generations/servers.php) page to get them. Anyway, the release was a success, and Phoenix will be picking through a dozen or so demos for screenshots to throw up in the Gallery (http://www.wireheadstudios.org/gallery/view_album.php?set_albumName=GenArena).
Speaking of which, if you would like to become a part of Wirehead gallery history, we will be running our weekly forum games again every Wednesday and Saturday night at 9 PM ET (-5 GMT). Wednesday nights will be Custom gametype nights, which will be determined via our Poll on the news page every week. Saturdays will be regular Free-For-All nights. For those not familiar with how the poll works, it's generally 5 randomly decided gametypes and the one with the most votes will be played that week. Once a gametype is a poll winner, it is removed and replaced by another gametype for the following week's poll. I'll keep you posted on this once we get it running properly again. (There may be no poll this week)
We enjoy having full servers as it opens up the doors for more gametypes to be played. Maybe we'll have CTF and the long-awaited Slipgate vs. Doom in the near future.
