Title: Re: Searches Without Warrants Post by: Footman on 2004-03-28, 20:14 That is 100% un-sporking-constitutional! What the spork are these morons thinking?! Oh right, these sporkers DON'T think! :shout:
Title: Re: Searches Without Warrants Post by: Kain-Xavier on 2004-03-29, 15:47 I certainly do not agree with this at all, but I am curious as to what the "legitimate reason" was behind the decision.
Title: Re: Searches Without Warrants Post by: dev/null on 2004-03-29, 19:02 Wow, who would have thought that in an era of fear and terror, a time where the masses desperately clamor for safety from unseen and ultimately fabricated forces, that a pseudo police state would be rising? I certainly didn't, nope, because I'm not one of those crazy conspiracy theorist.
Title: Re: Searches Without Warrants Post by: Phoenix on 2004-03-29, 22:07 It's well known among the conservative circuits that liberal judges have overstepped their bounds and are legislating from the bench since they can't push their agenda through the legislature. Basically it's reshaping the law by abusing the principle of judicial precedent. There's no theory about this conspiracy dev/null, it's well documented as a factual one. In this case you're dead on the money.
Title: Re: Searches Without Warrants Post by: death_stalker on 2004-03-30, 04:50 That sucks. But then again maybe if the law has good reason, like lots of people complaining about firearms drugs,or something dangerous,it might be a good thing.Don't get me wrong though,I agree with everyone else on it,it is very unconstitutional. We are involved in a war on terrorism. So they will pull all the stops.

Here (http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/bal-te.obscenity06apr06)'s another thing the government's trying to pull. Normally I'm a conservative, but this is going way too far. If they get away with these, what other loopholes are they going to rape to take away our Constitutional rights? |
