Title: Hahah dumbasses at work! Post by: ConfusedUs on 2004-05-25, 02:06 http://www.vwdov.ca/forum/showthread.php?s...&threadid=44407 (http://www.vwdov.ca/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=44407)
This is just hilarious Title: Re: Hahah dumbasses at work! Post by: Phoenix on 2004-05-25, 02:47 The next time someone comments about the "superior human brain" I'm going to point them to this thread. :D
Title: Re: Hahah dumbasses at work! Post by: ConfusedUs on 2004-05-25, 02:50 I once saw a bird flapping for all of it's worth to reach a light post ten feet away, but the wind was so strong it was barely making headway.
Less than a foot behind the bird was an identical light post. And no, this bird wasn't nesting in the other pole. Its nest was in a tree equidistant from both polls. I watched the bird finish building it. Superior brainpower at work? I think not... Title: Re: Hahah dumbasses at work! Post by: Phoenix on 2004-05-25, 02:54 Presumptuous mammal! You assume to know the intricacies of avian behavior? We fly INTO the wind to get stronger! Do not mistake determination for stupidity.
Title: Re: Hahah dumbasses at work! Post by: ConfusedUs on 2004-05-25, 02:56 I completely see your point. I'm a changed man.
I shall start attempting to walk up nearly-vertical surfaces, just to make myself stronger! HARRR I'm gonna be like the HULK! Title: Re: Hahah dumbasses at work! Post by: OoBeY on 2004-05-25, 03:33 I walk onto roadways and attempt to stop vehicles with my bare hands, to build such strength. So far I've gotten up to pushing over toddlers on tricycles.
Title: Re: Hahah dumbasses at work! Post by: Footman on 2004-05-25, 05:15 And I will try to outrun trains and bullets to build up my speed.
Title: Re: Hahah dumbasses at work! Post by: Phoenix on 2004-05-25, 06:26 I will also be sure not to mistake stupidity for determination. I'd point out that flying into the wind is fairly harmless compared to the activities you're suggesting, but then, who am I kidding here? Go right on ahead, don't listen to the bird. :shifty:
Title: Re: Hahah dumbasses at work! Post by: Footman on 2004-05-25, 06:30 Yea, but sometimes, if the wind's strong enough, you'll be smashed into a brick wall or something.

Post by: games keeper on 2004-05-25, 18:48 there is nothing harmful aout stopping a car withyour bare hands , just a lot of guts and trust in the driver of the car .
and I once saw some ducks trying to swim streamupwarts what ended in a fail seen thestream was to strong . instead the ducks could just have taken of with the stream and then fly over the water to where they had to be .
