Case 714 in that first link looks very sharp.  It's certainly one of the better case mods I've seen in a while.

Actually I had thought about something like 435 "for use in high temperature environs", but the amount of magnetic flux from an AC fan motor like that is awfully high to use close to electronic components.  Induction is bad.  Maybe with a properly shielded motor?
