Title: Advance warning (I might be vanishing for a bit) Post by: Angst on 2004-06-12, 20:53 A quick background story:
Roughly three years ago I ordered cable internet. Within the month, my father wanted to use it, and it was agreed that we would meet the bills half-way; as he wanted to run a webserver. As of today, I have fully paid 27 months worth of the bill, 12 of these coming out of my saving's account. My parents have paid for 10 months. Today, I was told that my parents are going to stop paying the internet bill. This, I would imagine, is in the hopes that I'll be able to magically pull a job out of my ass from sheer frustration/panic. In any event, I have roughly a month in which to find a job and make $47.20. In her infinite wisdom, dear Mother has decided that we're going to take a 13-day family trip to Kansas. We leave sometime Monday, June 14th. This leaves me with approximately 13 days to find a job and earn the above-mentioned amount. Most likely, I'm going to vanish for an indeterminate amount of time. Tack on car-loan (savings was SUPPOSED to go here) and that busts me up to almost $1000 a month.
