Lets restart the games once more, been quiet boring lately, and maybe see some gen ctf matches going again.

Post when you are willing to play, plus what game mode you want to play, we get enough people will play some more then decent ctf matches.

Well i can play on saturdays, you may choose time i can be up late or early does'nt matter really :D

well game modes: FFA CTF(without the hook) Team DM.

i'm most always down, though war3 has been taking up unhealthy chunks of my life lately.  Hit me up with a PM in the chan and if I'm not ruling the plains of Azeroth I'll be happy to get my ass kicked around in a Gen game.

well im still really busy  in school so i cant give you an exact time when ill be able to join but if you guys set a time and date ill try to make it

Hmm, this seems like a good idea for a few polls.  Check the pinned topics.  We'll see how day goes, then time of day.

Games, read the posts and topics please! Pho also brought up you Euro's, hoping to keep in time with you also.

So far the posts are favoring 9 pm eastern (3 am Amsterdam) for the games.  I propose starting at 8 pm so we're not keeping our European friends up until 4 or 5 am needlessly.  That is, of course, unless they want to stick around, which is just fine!  I'm sure the game will still be quite toasty by 9, and anyone who wants to join in at that point is more than welcome to.  We can decide on a server at the time we begin, and post which server is being played on the board.  We could pin a topic for that.  In fact, if this is a go for starting at 8 I'll remove the polls and create a new pinned thread.

All forum games will use 99b, not the test build, since not everyone is a beta tester and I ping 6 to the test server - not fair by any means.  Any objections to the start time and format?

Ok, I unpinned the polls and pinned up the scheduler.  Now we just need to decide what gametype we want to play, and on which server.  I'd love to get a good CTF game going myself. B)

since harvester isnt an option right now I would choose for CTF

can we not do such thing as in sof 2 where the standard deathmatchmodels are used in ctf and not the red and blue models .
but instead above each model there is a sort of red or blue dot above..

Ok, let's start it out as a CTF game, and anyone who wants to stay on after the CTF is pretty much played out we can always switch over to FFA.  Unless anyone has any objections, or it goes offline for some reason, let's play on the Generations Euro server.  It's on an OC3 so it should ping pretty good for everybody, however if anyone pings absurdly high there we can pick a different one.

hmmm.. it seems that I might be able to join forum games after all. That depends whether old Atom can stay up or not.  :rolleyes:

Of all the people who posted 9 PM was the best time, I ask "Where were you?".  Atom was able to join us, Omega played, and though a little bit late, Lilazzkicker joined in the fun as well.  We didn't have enough to do a good CTF game, so we had a fun little FFA.  Perhaps the holiday weekend made it hard to join in, but everyone else missed it.  All you scrubs out there try to make it next week! :blink:

1) go to http://www.agsm.net (http://www.agsm.net) and download the program .
2)configure the program so that all the genservers are in it and that it hides all the emty servers
3)Let it run every saturday . (or always )


now from the moment sombody is online on one of the servers you should get a warning and you can join inmediatly . :)
this way you dont have to use the "all seeying eye" or "gamespy arcade"
and if all people herewould react  inmediatly when someone is online then there will be forumgames whenever you want .

Well.. I was there along with Pho, Omega and Lilazz.  I literally passed out  at 4:30 am  :thud: . Yes, we definitely need a different forum game for US and for Euro ppl, like before. We can have more humane times to play that way. Even GK can join us, then :)

Well we tried to have euope forum games before at first it worked we were some ppls playing but eventually no one was there except me and Arno....so if enuff europeans want a game we could start a european forum game.

Atom235: no CET = Central European Time, aka GMT+1 you are GMT+2 :) so 12pm is 1am for you atom.

Hey, what happened last night? It was going great then the server had a temporary connection problem and no one came back. I was kickin ass on Tokay's Towers  :evil:

It took a while, but we all came back soon after.
I was most definately doing a good job yesterday ;]

After the game yesterday I've come to the conclusion that I'm most DEFINATELY out of practice. ;)

Still had fun though. I focused more on doing whacko stuff than killing.  :D

I think I had like 40 discharge kills on tokays.  :hat:

From all the games played yesterday, it was a bit hard to miss one, very good games at that.

Games, I manage to get people with the saw now and again.  Look on the bright side though, at least I wasn't trying to kill you with the blaster. :D
