Title: Hardware is in.... (Still waiting for a couple of) Post by: Amphetamine on 2004-08-30, 01:28 Ok, hardware upgrade is mostly complete. Finally have somthing that can run D3 (Ath XP 2700+ / 512mb PC3200 / GF FX5200 OC 256mb) It's all clocked about as far as it can go right now too. I'm still waiting for my new Chieftech Blue Dragon and 600w PSU to turn up though, then I can see how much further it can go with more stable voltage and a shedload of YS Tech fans.
Anyhow, I'm currently drawing a mighty 15.1FPS on demo1 @ 640x480 in low detail :wtf: so not entirely impressed with that, although it is playable.... Maybe I should have invested in some better hardware :( Anyhow, You should be pleased to learn that I'm back in the mapping game again, this time for D3, and am currently working on a conversion of D1E1M1 for your pleasure :D Will probably be a while though, as I've got some learning to do in terms of the new engine and some serious catching up to do in the detailing stakes! Level will be SP oriented but will be optimized for MP. Amphetamine out. Title: Re: Hardware is in....
