All elements heavier than hydrogen are because, well, they're fused from hydrogen. Hydrogen is fused into helium initially, sure, but helium is subsequently fused again into other atoms, either helium with helium, or helium with hydrogen, etc, and the results of their fusion are further fused, until eventually the star supernovas and spreads its new elements throughout the cosmos, which later condense into new stars and planetary systems.

It's the part of us birds that we make baby birds with, along with leaving those presents on your automobiles, and it's also why you'll never see a bird pee (we don't, and actually we can't, as we possess no urinary bladder). Haven't you ever wondered why it's so hard to tell male birds from females if the plumage isn't different? We're not exactly arranged the same way you mammals are. Male and female birds are pretty much identical back there. We just have one opening we use for everything.
