Hi all,

Anyone up for a game of generations anytime soon?

The forum games have been relatively quiet the last few months. Tab and me have been playing regularly at the euro server, but not many join us :(

So, get off your lazy ass and connect to a gen server !  :!:

BTW, if euro is too laggy for you, I'll come to any other server !

I've been far, far too busy to play.  I've been swapping hardware all over the place.  Hopefully soon, but no guarantees.  Not today for sure.  :(

I've been busy recently, but I should be able to have a few Euro rounds on Thursday.

I'm free to play, however I may not be on when you want me to be on. Since my comp died I have to use my stepdad's to play, and being in another house in another city I'm sometimes not able to get on. I cannot honestly say what days I can be on, but I'll try to get on as much as possible.

As for the server, I perfer the GenArena Central server. *Shrugs*

I will play as often on saturdays as I can, but I'm in a band and often have to work on fridays and saturdays at this time of year. (and every sunday recently but the last one) I really enjoy a good game of Gen, but can't seem to get my sons intrested at the moment. I still give Gen copies to everyone I know who might be remotely intrested.

So it goes.

Time is something i don't got much of.. however since it looks like im getting "fired" from my work i suppose i'll have lots of free time during next year...that's both good and bad :S

There was a game...? Well blah. I probably would have joined if A) I knew of the time in GMT -5 that the game starts, and B) if I didn't go to get my eyes examined early yesterday afternoon...

Anyway, anyone want to pop in for a game or so? I'm about to go mess around in one of the servers, and after watching some of the demos posted here I've been itchy to have a fight with someone.

I snuck in a map against IceDragon and a random person Friday night. Was good to play again!

I'll be around tonight (Saturday) at around 10PM EST (-5 GMT). I hope to see people on servers then. :)

That "random" person was one of my friends. I manage to bribe him to play Generations Arena from time to time, heh.

This New Years Eve I'm gonna be at a friends house that happens to have Gen on his computer. So we will most likely be on the Central Server. That is if I can talk him into doing it again. Maybe we can get a good game on... yes no?

I'll sometimes jump in when I see people on the server. I'll check at pretty much random times though.

Sorry about New Years guys...  :(  I had a bit too much holiday cheer and spent the whole night beating Burnout 3. Good grief that thing was addictive  :smirk: ... both actually...  :smirk:

That is an awsome game, its pretty hard.

I missed last night's game because I was helping a friend fix a file transfer problem.  I was going to join in, but when I was done the people who were on the server just five minutes before left.  I was sad.  :(

Granted i've been slacking off in the online fragging department but after looking through some sceenshots I want a huge CTF game, how about everyone else?

We don't have enough players for any kind of huge game at the moment - and we know less players that are interested in CTF than in FFA. I'm for it, even though I generally think CTF turns into boring, unbalanced teambashing. More Gen is more fun.

I'd love one, even if we have to throw a few bots in as "filler" players.  We'd have to figure out what kind of settings we want, such as hook and ctf techs, if any.  I'm not a hardline "must be oldschool Quake 1 CTF" player, so if players opt for no hook or techs that's fine by me too.  We just have to figure out when we want to play, and on which server.  I'll play on either one, provided I can make it.

Edit:  I prefer to play on the red team because I like red better, but I don't mind adjusting teams, handicap, etc, for balance.  This isn't a clan scrim so I see no reason not to.

I will play just tell me when.
