Title: Gen Makes Top 10 Mods List Post by: Phoenix on 2006-10-19, 16:19 The Happy Friar put together a list of the Top 10 Mods of All Time (http://planetquake.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Articles.Detail&id=822) on PlanetQuake (http://www.planetquake.com) today, and Generations Arena scored the number 6 spot! That's pretty good when put up against the likes of Team Fortress, considering we're still an unfinished beta. His one complaint about the mod? More people need to play it! It's a complaint I heartily agree with, so let's try to get some more action going on those servers!

Title: Re: Gen Makes Top 10 Mods List Post by: Vorlonesque on 2006-10-21, 03:49 Once I get ISDN, I'll be up for a game as well (I'm on 24k dial up which pretty much kills any chance of stable play for me)...it'll be a while before I get ISDN...Verizon is still qualifying my loop (they told me they'd be gentle!)...and they're taking they're time.
I'd say Gen Arena is my all-time favorite mod...and my favorite DM. Its also the game/mod that I seem to keep coming back to regardless of what else I'm playing...a constant if you will. I'm surprised Gen actually made the list.. mostly due to the lack of servers and players. But.. I'd have ranked TF as #1. :)
