Do we really need Microsoft owning any more of the world? Title: Re: More Proof: Microsoft wants the World Post by: Footman on 2008-02-02, 21:11 Nobody wants to live in a world that needs to be rebooted every some-odd months. Not to mention the security holes. :P

Let's face it, that's Microsoft's ultimate goal. Title: Re: More Proof: Microsoft wants the World Post by: Ravenholme on 2008-02-02, 23:52 then google is the last stand with the newspapers and mac .

Title: Re: More Proof: Microsoft wants the World Post by: Tabun on 2008-02-04, 01:51 I'm going to get seriously worried when MS starts to buy water/electricity companies.
Store one too many items in your 100-item-licensed refridgerator? No electricity for a week. Installing a new bathtub without asking first? No running water. And if .. I mean when something goes wrong .. ... Anarchy. Title: Re: More Proof: Microsoft wants the World Post by: Phoenix on 2008-02-04, 03:44 Time to start investing in Guy Fawkes masks I suppose...
Title: Re: More Proof: Microsoft wants the World Post by: Ravenholme on 2008-02-04, 04:48 Anarchy in the UK baby yeah,
love that song anyways Title: Re: More Proof: Microsoft wants the World Post by: Kain-Xavier on 2008-02-04, 12:16 I guess Microsoft's not satisfied with the adoption rate of Live search. :p
Playful jab aside, this potential merger has another danger. Yahoo! is partnered with a lot of ISP's to provide e-mail servers, software, and web-based services. If Microsoft owned Yahoo! they could work towards making these features exclusive to MSN. Title: Re: More Proof: Microsoft wants the World Post by: Kajet on 2008-02-04, 12:27 Well hopefully that'll mean hotmail's spam filter will quit sucking so damn bad...
Title: Re: More Proof: Microsoft wants the World Post by: Tabun on 2008-02-04, 12:45 As if a monopoly ever made anything suck less badly..
