I've never seen a snap not go through the center's legs.. but it seems only Canadian football has that as an actual requirement of the snap. I never knew that.
Guess the opposing team there didn't know that either, so they didn't know what was going on.. especially since every member of the other team was still 'set'.. save for the quarterback, who was just kinda casually strolling along with the football.
