Anyone who thinks Doom is dead is smoking crack, aside from Doom Eternal coming out the community is still cranking our really first rate .wads all the time and the modern source ports do incredible things. I'm working on two maps myself right now. Doom has never been dead and is never going to die.

I downloaded wolf3d shareware in June of 1992 on my local bbs on a 9600 baud modem... took over 3 hours and 2 reconnects.. ATDT18035315734. I remember the number haha I wouldn't dial it now prolly some cell phone. That was my start. I downloaded doom the same way when it came out. :D Pho I sent you a friend request!
