I re-read the Penny-Arcade archives a few days ago, so I had the cardboard tube samurai stuck in my head.

Last night I dreamed that I foiled a robbery with a cardboard tube I found in a dumpster. I was deflecting bullets and ninja stars with the greatest of ease.

I woke up thinking "Hm, Ninjas!", closely followed by "WTF?"

There has got to be something to this because I was also saying WTF as I was reading your post.

Just recently, I dreamt that I was Joe from the videogame "Viewtiful Joe."  I usually have dreams such as this when I play a certain game for a prolonged period of time, (especially when I am playing when I normally should be sleeping.  :D)  What annoys the hell out of me though, is that I actually move around in my sleep acting out whatever it is that the character does.  So I spent most of that night semi-consciously flip-flopping back and forth on my bed as if I were taking on enemies from both sides.

I dreamed I was fighting demons (no biggie there).  Then strangely I dreamed I was IN a game of RTCW.  Strange because I've never played RTCW, especially multiplayer.  I was on the Axis team.  There were two bases built side-by-side, with a narrow bridge as the only way into them.  I was the only one with the guts to charge the Allied base and take the fight to them.  So I went in with a rather odd looking Panzerfaust, an MP-40, a Mauser rifle, and some grenades.  That's when it got strange.  Instead of a military base it was a cafeteria, and the rest of it was a 6-story office complex.  The executive level (6th floor) had beds outside of the offices.  I don't even want to know what that was about...  I couldn't find the "general" (CEO) and troops started storming up a stairwell that looked like something out of the first Matrix movie.  Somehow I learned the CEO was actually on the second floor so I grappled out the side of a window, shot the second floor window out....

... and proceeded to fall of my perch.   :thud:

Nah.. I usually dream of beating up old defenseless women with a baseball bat..
Dunno what that is all about.

Seriously though, I usually forget my dreams, which is just as well :]
