Title: Custom Game 4/12: Slipgate DM
Post by: mecha on 2004-04-12, 06:02
Finally, a winner from the Slipgate crowd. ( :ownage: ) This week's custom game poll winner is Slipgate DM. Ride rockets or accept the shaft ... the choice is yours. ;) Last week's Earth DM game was a huge success, I hope Slipgate draws in an equal crowd.

Our CTF games have been lacking lately and resulted in many fights, but DM hasn't gone unscathed. As a result, if you haven't seen Con's post already, there are official server rules in the works and while they're not finalized yet, they will employ a "3 strikes and you're out" system. Meaning: 1st offense: warning, 2nd offense: kick, 3rd offense: BAN!

So let's keep it clean here ladies and gents, and enjoy the games. Server locations:

Euro Custom Games
Time: 9pm CET
Server: GenArena Custom Europe[WHS] .99d | 81.18.162.37:27960

North American Custom Games
Time: 9pm EST
Server: GenArena Central[WHS] .99d | 69.93.136.70:27960
-and-
GetSomewhere.Net's Generations FFA | 69.8.149.158:27960

Added by ConfusedUs
The rules are now avaliable on the GenArena servers page (http://www.wireheadstudios.org/generations/servers.php). I highly suggest everyone read them, as we will begin enforcing the rules immediately.

Also, be on the lookout for a similar set of rules for the forums (http://forums.wireheadstudios.org/) and IRC channels (http://www.wireheadstudios.org/irc/cgi-bin/irc.cgi) in the near future.
