Probably that grass with mayonaise... ugh.

Yes, grass. The stuff that cows eat.

I guess my worst meal of more recent years (i.e. that I can remember) was served in a pub (I think it was called O'Reilly's) in Manhattan. Decent joint, but I just mistakenly assumed they were Fish and Chips experts too -- turns out they were especially good at making Fish and Chips taste exactly alike and more like extreme oily fried fatness.

Any meal is made worse by adding beets.  No other food I have sampled tastes more foul.  I remember when times were hard on my family, I had to remain at the table for three - four hours gagging with each bite as I slowly finished my plate.

Mine would be... probably the canned beanless chilli my mom bought when I was young. I compare it to dog food. I had to sit there for hours on end until it was gone, because I talked my parents into buying it.

Worst meal I can think of is when I go to I-hop and accidentally order a cheeseburger/monster burger, It tastes good but you can feel your heart slow down...

How do you accidentally order something?

Well I get tired of the other stuff on the menu and forget how the burgers there make me feel like I'm having a heart attack

Or, there's that way of losing your balance, tripping over something and -- in a fit of creative panic -- blabbing out some cries of shock and fright. Most of the time it will sound like a cartooney "wuhahuhooooiieujw", but every once in a while, it's: "I'll have me the cheeseburger, m'am". Stranger things have happened.

That's pretty creative...Althought, it's not something I ever eaten or that I'm going to eat, but it must be Wine with mayonaise...

I've eaten spoiled meat before.  I decided later that carrion is prime fare only for vultures.

Awful meals? I think the most awful meal I ever ate was at IHOP. All I ordered was the sampler platter there, onion rings, cheese sticks & chicken tenders. For a while I got great service, good food there. This time it was horrible, food was late, food got there bout 30 mins after I ordered it. It was done, but over fried, like it had been done then pulled up and waiting too long so they redropped it in the vat of boiling oil to warm it up. Cheese sticks were more like cheese stick shells... all the cheese had drained out of them, onion rings were crispy inside & out. Chicken tenders were nearly too hard to ate. I made it half way through the meal, got up & walked out.

Alas I have not been back since.
