I need to get my E3000 hooked up, apparently. Maybe I'm safe enough for the time being since my WRT54G is running DD-WRT? Hehe.

As I understand it, you're quite safe if you're actually using the security options of your router. Default password/no password etc. is silly, anyway.

Tabun:  Indeed.  I would wager most people here would have things properly configured, but they may have a relative or friend that does not.  I look at these sort of incidents as a good opportunity for people to educate their less tech savvy associations or if nothing else double-check their settings.   :slippy_thumb:

And this is why my router is a repurposed p3 :P
