Today's 99e preview stats off with a bang!

First up is a beautiful map by Glassman called Dead Souls. This map is one of the most visually pleasing maps I've ever seen, and it plays great! Dead Souls is an outstanding gothic castle map with a strong Quake 1 feel.

We also had a hell of a time last night in the Custom Forum games. Several hours of Slipgate DM were followed by "Skeet Shooting". The map was changed to Half the server grabbed railguns and stood on the rail platform. The other half used the Slipgate class and started spinning around in the air.

We shot slipgaters out of the air for nearly an hour, taking turns as shooter and shootee.

Here's a screenshot of the scoreboard early in the match, when TekHead was teaching the slipgaters how to best avoid getting shot. If only they could have avoided the void instead!

Hopefully someone puts up some real screenshots sometime today!

Glassman ALWAYS puts out top notch work.  Sadly, he doesn't produce enough maps to satisfy my jones.

Wow... Slipgate - Distraught ...remind me to ask him how he got that nice 'dusty sunlight' effect at the windows some time... that's a very well-done visual.
