For those of you who might be wondering "Why should I care about dual-core CPU's?", you might want to check out
this article
. I know Quake 4 hasn't been the most impressive game for a lot of people, but if this is any indication of a trend, dual core > single core for the games of the future. Might want to consider that if you're considering blowing any Christmas cash on a new mainboard/CPU combo. I know I'd take that extra framerate without question!

Yes, I'm getting a dual core processor, the FX-60 when it comes out in a few weeks for socket 939. I have done my homework on this technology, and boy it is an interesting read.
