Something to ponder.  The technology is still very disturbing, even if you don't believe in that sort of thing.  How sadly ironic it is that in the "Land of the Free" it is freedom that is so eagerly being destroyed in the pursuit of greed.  The way these people think you won't be able to use a privy without them knowing exactly how you wipe your arse by the time they're done with this.  Take the time to enjoy your anonymity while you can. There's people that say war brings out the very worst in people. There's people  that say work in marketing is just like any other job.

I disagree - greed seems to bring out the worst in people (makes war-criminals look like kindergarten bullies to me). Anyone working in, on, or with commercials, advertisements, marketing-strategies, or monopoly-exploitment (like M$) is irrefutably evil. I saw a job opening the other day that literally said: 'If you can sell an old rusty toaster for new value, we've got a job for you!'. I swear - Satan looked me straight into the eye. And grinned.

I remember George Carlin saying something about American culture, that we like to 'declare war' on anything we don't like. How interesting, especially in the fact that everyone remembers how great the economy recovered after WW2, which leads to the American "War is good for the economy" ideal.

War on Drugs
War on Terrorism
War on Consumers
War on Piracy (I'm sure that it's been said at one point)

We're a war-loving group over here in The States!  :blink:
