is there a command or script or something that can make your map-names show up in console???

i always forgett the names of my custom maps and having to write them down is as much of a hassle as restarting the server each time i want to switch to a non-vq3 map

hmm, I'm not aware that there is, but it might be possible to parse the level title from the console.. What do you say Ward/Pho? a "/namedir maps" possible?

I have a better question is there anyway to make ALL my maps show up in the menu? I think Quake has a built in limit, and I have way too many maps

I  also have that problem.
I even have that problem with models.
the limit in quake3 is 16 pages of models
and maps are limitted to 96 I think Slipgate - Sad
