1) It's free
2) what you need to do: Register when registration opens.. and somehow Get to quakecon, and have a place to sleep for 4 nights.

I come when I got a new descent laptop , since I wont take with me a complete chieftec case ( its heavier then you think ) and my 200 mhz laptop isnt gonna cut it , unless anyone is intersted to play doom with me on quakecon  Doom - Huh?

Well I'm still not entirely sure on my transportation method, but I now have a reservation with the Gaylord Texan hotel.  Slipgate - Smile  Quakecon ends right next to my finals week, but I'll figure out something in that regard as well.
