Its glariingly clear most of you have no taste in movies. Jurassic Park was leauges better than both the lost world and jurassic park 3 and if you cant see that you should start seeing movies sober.

Has no one here seen Yojimbo or the good the bad and the ugly?  i mean come on expand a little for christ sake.

And now to retort your cynical criticism, I loved III because it showed the raptors with some measure of intelligence, and watching "the dominant species" get dominated by creatures from over 65 million years ago is always a plus in my book.  Bow down before your superiors, small insignificant mammals!  Sipgate - Evil
Pho - don't make this thread go to the CC.
Anyway, I haven't seen that movie, but are you telling me that the raptors took over the world and enslaved/killed all  humans?  No?  Than I'd hardly say puny mamals got dominated.

I don't really have a favorite. Aliens was good, but I'd say it was better as a sci-fi movie than an action movie. Here are some good ones which haven't been mentioned yet:

The Fifth Element
Hero (by the makers of Crouching Tiger, with Jet Li)
The Way of the Gun
Terminator 3 (it had no plot but it was entertaining anyway)
Jacky Chan's First Strike (he beats the shit out of people with a step ladder!)
both Drunken Master movies
Enter the Dragon (Mista Ree! Why you no wear uniform?)
Black Hawk Down

dna:  That's my way of saying "I like watching watch people run for their lives from the dinosaurs."  I thought my evil smiley showed that I was being humorous. Slipgate - Smile~

And Tekhead:  You never know.  Maybe they did.  Slipgate - Wink

Dark City.

Am I the only one thats seen this?

Watched it twice on the first day, then had to give the tape back ( a poor copy anyway)
Just got it on DVD. intend to get all my friends around to see it together. The best Si-Fi film I have ever seen, and I've seen most of them from metropolis onwards.

I also like madmax2, terminator2, blade runner, metropolis, aliens, original King Kong, Signs, Dr Strangelove, and best war film=Where eagles dare.
