Big security hole in Mozilla/Firefox for Win32.
Arbitrary application execution via shell: URL.
http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,1759,1621463,00.asp
v0.9.2 of Firefox is available to fix this problem:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/fir...Setup-0.9.2.exe
Alternatively, a patch in the form of an .xpi file, if you don't want to upgrade to 0.9x ->

I am gay for Mozilla, and their one day turnarounds on security holes.

I only use IE. Why does everyone buy those browsers? IE is very good!

Yes, anyone who's actually buying Firefox is nuts. Me, I just downloaded it for free.
Thinking IE is very good is somewhat like liking city air. It's alright, and when you've lived there for years, it grows on ya. Then you take a hike in the countryside, and you suddenly realize there's such a thing as countryside-air, and you're hooked. Hence: other browsers.

lol, firefox is free, and it sure beats the hell out of IE.
But that's a personal opinion. If used by someone with a brain, IE is usually ok.

What I love is the patch just goes right in without any problems. I'm still using Phoenix 0.8 since I don't feel like compiling a new build, and it installed with one click, and no hassles or reboots like IE needs.

I could never get FireFox to work with M.E. but now I'm an XP guy, I intent to give it a go.
seems people who know about these things mostly use it.
QUESTION: I use flashget 1.3 is there a downloader that works with firefox?
