You could always build your own crane, probably wouldn't be too hard. A few girders, an operating booth and some tracks

help guys . water doesnt work for me . it is water . with the right texture but it is as hard as ice at -50 degrees so can sombody help me please:(

First. check if the water you are using is a shader not a texture if the texture have a white frame in radiant it's a shader.

I also have a problem with my textures. in the editor they show up right sized . (after a bit of stretching and pushing . but in game theyre tiny so

guest: hmm im not sure what you mean, what tool do you map with? and take a screenshot of the tiny texture, also try to avoid stretching textures because stretched textures looks very bad.

that was me reboot. fogot to log in . me well the map is still in beta (no weapons 1 spawnpoint , etc.) but I just wanned to stretch it out a little so they would fit . about the water , I really dont knnow what i do wrong but its just like that that my water is hard as ice .

As i said games keeper you MUST check if the "texture" is a water SHADER if the image in the editor got a WHITE border around it the texture is a shader thus it should be working water. this is basic i highly recommend you to read the radiant manual. however you can always make your own water shader.

think i found the problem . I always make the bsp as a bsp2 file . maybe i have to make a bsp file from it. but how do you do that :blink:

you could pack your map file in diffirent forms . you know . nolight ,1/2 light meta and ohers. well in gtk radiant you pack them in bsp2 files (wich also gives ya a bsp file but with other entities i think . while in sdk you can still pack in in bsp. think bsp2 is the newsile not sure

Ehr..the q3 bsp is still the same! you mean "q3map2" not BSP2 q3map2 is just another compiler, with some other features, it still writes the same bsp file as q3map.

yes thats it sorry for my mixup . but still maye thats the problem . now I downloaded sdk radiant. I still cant work with it like gtk but its more sof2 stiled. problem with that is if I write a bsp I never get wher he writes it to .

new problem . I'm gonna upload the textures im gonna use for my map. those textures just dont want to load up in my gtkradiant. can sombody tell me why after you saw them ?
this is the programs i all use sdkradiant: textures do load up in sdk radiant but there I cant make a bsp file gtk radiant. water is hard as ice , textures dont show up (see above) default txtures sow up in it at right size (after putting them good. but in game there as tiny asa pink. quark : lets just say I cant handle it.
