lol, you wuss, goto work, i played football on worse! seriously tho, ive twisted my left ankle so many times its in a state of permanent swelling.. i should take pics of mine, mine looks like that and its NOT swollen

lol , I even went to training with a broken ankle ,wel , it didnt hurt , just couldnt walk very wel with it .

Update: The swelling has spread, but the pain is going away. I've been keeping the foot iced & elevated as much as I can stand sitting at my PC. I don't think it looks any better, but at least I can rotate my ankle and walk up stairs. Here's a new comparison pic for you guys to feast your eyes on: (left is normal foot, right is sprained ankle... and I just unwrapped it from last night, so forgive the bandage marks) Updated FootI find myself more angry than symphathetic towards myself because of this. Grrr.... heal already! |

Yar... that doesn't look too pleasant. Hopefully the swelling will go down some more tomorrow  Although, I recommend going to the doctor as well if it doesn't, especially if your foot starts sprouting metal tentacles besides the swelling.  |

My GF who works in this field as a podietrist (US folks may call this chropidist) says you should see a doctor. says it might be broke. she has 21 years experance at the job, so LISTEN TO HER!

Update: There is some discoloration towards my heel - some dark red/blueish spots. Yeah, I'll go to the doc... yeesh.

Update... it's gotten worse. There is discoloration along the bottom of my heel on both sides of black and blue, including a few spots of red. I'm going to the doctor in about 30 minutes to get a checkup. My folks took the digital camera, so no pic update... but I think you guys have seen enough of my swollen foot =P
