Hey guys, just a simple question, since i have been playing online a lot more frequently sometimes (but in recent times a lot) my pings are way offscale like "999" and sometimes a lot less, so how do you manage to keep them down????

High pings can be the result of a vast number of things, from a Quake3 command set to the wrong value to a bad connection.

What kind of connection do you have? Dialup? Cable? DSL? College campus?

What do you have the following quake3 commands set to?
com_maxfps
rate
snaps
cl_maxpackets

A quick, reliable ISP helps too.

Please refer to the FAQ section of the Generations Arena Manual for network tweaks. Slipgate - RTFM
