If I post something off-topic in this thread, wouldn't it actually be on-topic? And if that's the case, wouldn't being on-topic in this thread, by definition be off-topic? So would I actually end up being off-topic precisely because I was on-topic? Is this thread just a paradox waiting to happen? Am I my own grandmother?

That depends on the density and melting point of the rock, and the density and temperature of the lava.  Rocks can float on lava, but not all rocks will float on lava.

You would float on lava too... for a short time.  You'd be on fire and die very quickly, but you're not dense enough to sink.  As for why Quakeguy sinks in lava, he's wearing heavy armor and carrying lots of heavy ammo!  Slipgate - WTF

On average? If two terminators can't kill each other at the same time (no RLs, GL, or plasma guns) ?
(n-1 / n), if n is the total number of terminators. Maximum for one terminator is, of course, n-1. Unless he commits suicide or something.

And now for something completely different:
