The songs they use to replace MJ's music in Sonic & Knuckles collection are pure ass... they're the overly happy and peppy crap that's getting used more and more in the 2d sonic games.

Yup. I'm just glad I've still got 'em all. In fact, I've a good mind to dig 'em out again ... I always liked the original Carnival Night Zone music. It kind of put me in mind of a sort of demented Cypress Hill circus act from Hell. Or something. The replacement Ice Cap Zone music is particularly shite. It is totally devoid of atmosphere, something the original music delivered in spades. I'm apalled. It's like when a boy band gets hold of some classic song and takes away it's soul. Or when they replaced ALL the music in the US version of Sonic CD ... .gif) |

I know, all three zones had their atmosphere and a major part of it was the music and without it you've got not even a wretched shell of it's former glory...
And they replaced the music in Sonic CD? shit... I might have to look for the original stuff online, The music from it that I've heard isn't bad, possibly good in some cases but if there's even better stuff...

I just wanted to give everyone a heads-up about a 48 Hour Madness sale going on over at GoGamer.com...
Quake Wars: Enemy Territory for the PC (International Release) for $32.90
Bioshock for the PC (International Release) for $34.90
I don't really have the PC for either but it's still a good deal for anyone who is interested in either game but wanted to wait until the price goes down.
