Geez pho thats quite close  hehe see swedish aint hard afterall prob comes when americans/english ppls try to say the letter "R" and "?" in swedish, try a sentance like "S? ?r det". But then again if i whould ever try to speak the language tabby speaks id be all confused! Ik ben christian or whatever hehe |

I thought "skriva" was "writing/to write" or the like.
Actually, all western languages are pretty easy to (or at least pretty much equally hard) learn for any competent speaker of their native language. I guess the hardest thing is to learn to articulate -- that is, be able to detect the syntactic elements -- of any new language. It all sounds like a garbled stream at normal conversational speeds, until you manage to pick up on the language, it's particular "music/song" and its basic structure. After that, I've always found it easy to build up a vocabulary and develop a "feel" for it. Most people end up never learning a second language well, and get stuck with the mistaken belief that it's one of those "really hard" things to do.

The problem with learning a second language is you rarely get a chance to apply it so it usually falls to the wayside. All I remember of Spanish are stupid phrases, and I can't read Japanese kana at all now.
On another note, please be careful driving. I don't know what it is about this week but two of my friends have been in serious accidents and my roommate's transmission went dead on him in the middle of the road.
