You need to boost your com_hunkmegs setting. I had tried to set a default value of 128, but it ended up being too low and I didn't realize it. Try this:
Start Generations using a shortcut
Hit ~ to lower the console and type /seta com_hunkmegs 156
Shut down Generations.
Restart Generations using the shortcut.
Type /com_hunkmegs to verify your setting. It should now say "156". If so, you should be good to go. If you run into the same problem playing online when launching from a game browser like ASE, try loading normal Q3 and repeating this procedure. It won't hurt your Q3 performance and it'll ensure Gen works properly. We'll have this problem eliminated completely in the next release.
